Digital camera for microscope,
DP25: Notice for Sleep Mode of Windows Vista/XP
We have found that our DP25 digital camera for microscopes does not support “Sleep
Mode*” of Windows Vista or Windows XP.
We have a modification program of the camera driver to support Sleep mode.
Please download this modification program and update your DP25 camera driver.
We apologize for the inconvenience and will take action to strengthen our Product Quality Management system.

Digital cameras for microscope, DP25s, to be combined with TWAIN interface and/or DP2-BSW of the following versions:
・DP2-BSW Ver.1.2, Ver.1.3, Ver.1.4 and Ver.2.1
・DP25TWAIN Ver.1.1, Ver.1.2 and Ver.1.4
・DP2-TWAIN Ver.2.1
Phenomenon
If Windows Vista or Windows XP enters Sleep Mode while the DP25 is connected to the PC, it does not return properly. Though saved images are not affected, unsaved data are deleted. Also, please note that data being edited with other application software are not saved.
Cause
The camera driver of DP25 does not support Sleep Mode of Windows Vista or Windows XP.
Countermeasures
Downloading the modification program from the linked URL below and updating your DP25 camera driver solve the phenomena.

* Sleep Mode means Sleep/Hibernate of Windows Vista and Stand-by/Hibernate of Windows XP.
